Hog and Hound clay pigeon shoot
Further to last month’s meeting reference the annual clay
pigeon shoot between the Hog and Hounds. It has been confirmed
that the shoot will be held on 30th of August 2008.
There are a
total of 12 places available to those who wish to participate.
Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Ownership
of a shotgun is not essential but preference will be given to licensed
firearm holders. Anybody wishing to take part should be available
to attend on any of the two suggested dates and confirm attendance

Provincewide Harley-Davidson 9th Anniversary
Event
Provincewide Harley-Davidson opened in Ballymena in June 1999
as the first ever official Dealer in Northern Ireland. On Saturday
28th June 2008 the company celebrates its 9th Anniversary. It is
also the second anniversary of the opening of the new purpose built
11500 sq ft showroom facility at 8 Ferguson’s Way, Kilbegs
Business Park, Antrim, BT41 4LZ just behind the Junction 1 retail
park.
The event runs from 11am to 4pm. Live music will be provided by
well known local band “Southbound” who play a range
of Southern Rock and Blues. Outside catering will be provided in
the form of a HOG Roast . There will be a wide range of anniversary
offers on bikes, clothing, parts and merchandise. There will be
a free prize draw for everyone attending.
During the day 2 NW200 baseball caps signed by top motorcycle
racer Michael Rutter will be auctioned to raise funds for a childrens
charity, “The A Graham Charity 4 Kids”.
An open invitation is issued to all customers, friends and anyone
with an interest in motorcycling or the Harley-Davidson brand.
In 2007 the event attracted almost 500 people.

Europa get-together
Our get-together in
the Europa on Sunday was a great success. Thanks to all of you
who turned up. In total we had 10 members. We had a very productive
meeting – the craic was great, we
got to know lots more about each other and came up with lots of
great ideas for the coming year. A variety of events offering something
for everyone (drink, men, music, food – and just for Sue,
posing pouches!) – is on the agenda.
2008 European HOG Rally information
Dear All -
I think most of you are aware the 2008 European H.O.G. Rally is
scheduled to take place 25 - 28 September in Italy.
I recently visited the rally site and thought it would be worthwhile
to provide you with a few more details that you can share with
your members. They might find it useful if they are making plans
now to attend.
The rally will be at the Camping San Francesco site ( www.campingsanfrancesco.com)
in Rivoltella - about 35 kms west of Verona, on the southern coast
of Lake Garda. For further information on the area you may want
to refer to www.gardainfo.com or
contact the local tourist information service on +39 (0)30 916114.
From what I understand we should be in a position to be taking
pre-registration bookings for the rally in October. Pricing, etc
is TBD but I'll keep you up to date with information as and when
I receive it. Of course, if you have any questions, please on't
hesitate to ask. I'll do my best to help
